Hi, I’m Arielle!

I am an organic mixed-media artist, alt market creator/coordinator, photographer & dabbler in travel/tourism content creation.

I started in photography as a hobbyist landcape and nature photographer and after 10+ years, I have transitioned to the human-ish realm. I have a deep passion for creative/fantasy photography, probably because my nose is always in fantasy novels and my brain is always oozing with weird ideas. I have always known photography as a healing modality but after my first ever boudoir experience (as the muse), I discovered the release, rebirth and remembrance held by photography.

Before immersing myself in my creative endeavors, I worked in the water quality field. I received my diploma in Water Engineering Technology and worked for years in this industry. I will always be a passionate environmentalist and water quality nerd, I have just channeled that passion through a different expression.

My top priority during our session together is to hold a non-judgmental, brave space that allows my clients to feel empowered. I work very hard to create a trauma-informed environment that is fluid throughout all my sessions, whether that be a nature portrait, creative/fantasy or an intimate, boudoir session.

The art I craft is inspired by the natural world, incorporating crystals, preserved florals, plants, insects, wood, stone and other organic materials. Each piece is unique and honours a different story of nature. Organic materials are sourced ethically and as locally as I can. Supporting my community and local environment is vital to both my personal values, as well my business values.
